UCL: Osimhen, Umar, Sanusi know Round of 16 foes today

Today, Victor Osimhen, Sadiq Umar, and Zaidu Sanusi, all players in the Super Eagles squad, will find out their opponents for the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League. The draw will take place in Nyon, Switzerland, following the conclusion of the group stage. The eight group winners will be paired with the runners-up, bearing in mind that teams from the same country or those who met in the group stage cannot play against each other.

Napoli, led by Osimhen, finished second in Group C after Real Madrid. The team may potentially face Arsenal, Atlético de Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Manchester City, or Real Sociedad. Meanwhile, Sadiq’s team, Real Sociedad, came on top of their group and could potentially play any team from the unseeded pot, which includes Copenhagen, Inter Milan, Lazio, Leipzig, Napoli, Paris Saint Germaine, Porto, and PSV Eindhoven. As for Sanusi’s Porto, they also finished second in their group and are in for a challenging draw, having accumulated 12 points in Group H.
