Dreaming of becoming an actress, Tracy Gotoas took courses at the Conservatory and the Blanche Salant workshop to give herself every chance. After writing and directing the short film Elikia , the young woman landed minor roles in popular comedies such as Roulez jeunesse and Neuilly sa Mère, sa Mère . Jérôme Cornuau chose her to play young Aïssa Maïga in the disturbing TF1 TV film Above the Clouds .
The year 2021 marks a turning point in the career of the young artist. In June, Arte broadcast the fiction Les heritières , about a high school student from a disadvantaged background, whose future depends on her results in a prestigious Parisian school. At the same time, the actress is starring in L’horizon , by Emilie Carpentier , presented at the Angoulême Francophone Film Festival. In September, Netflix subscribers discovered her in the casting of the series Braqueurs , alongside Sami Bouajila . She plays Liana, a teenager who triggers a series of bloody events, enraging a Brussels drug trafficker.
Conquered by his talent, Netflix associates him with the credits of À Tomb Open , an adaptation of the Korean action thriller Hard Day with Franck Gastambide and Simon Abkarian in the lead. FGKO then directed her in the thriller Du crépitement sous les neons , based on the novel by Rémy Lasource . Tracy Gotoas plays the main female role, that of a young Nigerian prisoner of a prostitution network, who cherishes the hope of escaping her captors during her transfer to Spain.
