Serie A: Fiorentina to Renew Kayode’s Contract

Fiorentina is nearing an agreement with Michael Kayode, who is set to sign a new contract with the Serie A club.

Following an injury to regular first-team player Dodo, Kayode was called up to Fiorentina’s first team.

The talented right-back has played in five Serie A matches and two UEFA Europa Conference League fixtures, contributing with one assist across both competitions.

Kayode has garnered interest from several European clubs, including Arsenal.

The 19-year-old and Fiorentina are in the final stages of reaching an agreement.

Currently earning an estimated €30,000 per season, Kayode’s salary is expected to increase significantly to around €1 million per year.

It is believed that Fiorentina is prepared to offer the highly-rated teenager a five-year deal.
