Man Utd and Everton Games: Onana’s Injury Update
Reports suggest that Manchester United can breathe a sigh of relief regarding Andre Onana’s injury, following an update by Fabrizio Romano. The goalkeeper’s injury sustained during international duty seems to be minor, alleviating concerns about his fitness for the upcoming games against Everton.
During Cameroon’s 3-0 World Cup qualifier victory over Mauritius, Onana encountered a shoulder problem. Despite this, it seems that the injury is not serious, and he is anticipated to recover in time for Man United’s clash with Everton.
It is worth noting that Onana had to exit the field in the 81st minute during the match against Mauritius.
The 27-year-old goalie seemed to have injured his adductor muscle while attempting to prevent a shot, requiring four minutes of pitch-side treatment. However, he managed to walk off the field unassisted.
Cameroon is scheduled to face Libya, but it remains uncertain whether Onana will be fit enough to participate in that match.
