Attracted to comedy since she was a child, Hilarie Burton started on MTV as a host, which allowed her to make an appearance as a VJ (Video Jockey) in the series Dawson in 2002. A year later, she landed the regular role of the beautiful Peyton Sawyer in The Scott Brothers, where she won the hearts of Chad Michael Murray and James Lafferty.
