50 Cent reveals what he will do after seizing assets of former employee who stole $6.2M from him
In a recent development, 50 Cent has revealed his next course of action after recovering assets from a former employee who embezzled $6.2 million from him.
The individual in question, Mitchell Green, a former brand management director of the champagne company Le Chemin du Roi, was found guilty of siphoning off millions of dollars from 50 Cent’s champagne business. Reports state that Green, who previously served as the spirits company’s Director of Brand Management, hiked the product prices and allegedly received kickbacks from wholesalers amounting to $2.2 million in “agency fees.”
After two years of purportedly pilfering funds from 50 Cent, Green confessed following a threat to expose him. An arbitrator ruled that Green must return the illicit gains, along with an additional $948,096 paid to a wholesaler and an extra $2.7 million in legal expenses, totaling almost $6 million. In June 2022, a Manhattan judge upheld the arbitrator’s decision.
Despite Green’s petition to appeal the ruling being denied, 50 Cent is determined to enforce the judgment. The rapper recently shared an Instagram post referencing the article “50 Cent Ready To Seize Ex-Employee’s Property Over $6M Lawsuit,” expressing his intent to claim assets belonging to Green. Additionally, he posted a photo of a house he plans to seize, along with a picture of Green and his wife, humorously mentioning plans to install epoxy floors and preserve their family pictures as a theme for the property.
As 50 Cent continues to pursue his dues, the saga remains ongoing.
